Margaret McClure

Margaret McClure is a native of Southern California a.k.a "red head surf chick". She has had a successful solo artist career, played with many bands and has years of performance and writing experience. McClure started her performance career as the first violinist in the "Orange County District Orchestra" as a teenager, but preferred Bluegrass and Punk Rock.

One of her specialties is combining style elements to create a familiar yet original sound. She has a never ending supply of lyrical and musical ideas and brings her unique female emotional perspective, intellectual sense of humor as well as her modern feel for "cool" to the songs. Working with and developing new artists and songwriters is also something she does well.

The songs McClure and Machin are writing and producing at Bigrock Studios are getting rave reviews from critics, winning many awards, being featured on "Broadjam", "American Idol Underground" and can be heard on "The Local Show Live" and are being featured on MTV's "My Super Sweet 16", "Taquita and Kaui", "Making The Band 4", the primetime network show "Access Hollywood", as well as VH1's "Best Week Ever", and PBS's "Road Rules", and most recently, the Lifetime made for TV movie "She Drives Me Crazy". They are excited about many other film and TV placements for the upcoming season.
